Our camp site in beautiful Santa Fe New Mexico. We are here until the end of October 2014. Great spot and lots of hummingbirds, so fun to watch. Just a few steps from work.

Day out in Santa, we visited the Plaza Area and then the Pecs National Historical park.

First destination as work kampers

So after a long and windy trip we reached our first destination Sunday. We have a great spot, pictures later, and the owners have been wonderful. Busy getting organized because what looks like a lot of storage still isn't! We will probably begin to weed out the things we don't really use and only buy things when we run out. Trying out my new magic chef ice maker this morning, ice in about ten minutes. Not sure about the one in the freezer since this is a used RV we may just remove it and have extra room for food. Probably heading to camping world today for and outside cover for front windows. I hate the curtain. Started another craft project, a holder for items like keys, dog leashes,hats, and hiking equipment. I will post a picture when we hang it. Time to walk the dogs, eat breakfast and head to Albuquerque.

A few things are finished

Rain, sleet and snow

Well yesterday was a nasty day so I hope today is much better because we have to start moving things into "Serenity" she is anxious to go. Both tvs are now mounted on there locking swing contraptions, head board in place, day-night shades and curtains installed and I just received to packages of quake hold to fasten things down. I'm ready to head out there to see what needs to be finished.

New Toad

Forgot to post that we traded our commander and baja in for a 2011 jeep wrangler. Silver with black interior and we purchased her on 2/13/2012. Does she need a name? Firefly

A little progress today

We'll the tv got mounted and the mirror over the bed removed. I also was able to cover headboard.

She is pretty but plain

I love our RV she is simple and not gaudy but I need to liven her up a bit. Still waiting for the weather to clear because right now we would just be dragging stuff through the snow to do any work. Everything is ready and I do have a plan, just have to be patient.

Serenity finally ready to roll

Serenity is finally ready to roll, we will be picking her up today at 10. It is still in the teens and negative digets around here but it is going to stay that way through the weekend. I guess it's the perfect way to check out the heater. I am going to grab a few more pictures and measurements but I don't know how much I will get accomplished because we are probably going to have to dig out the snow where she is normally parked. Fun times! Any way going to stop for some breakfast and then head to Transwest. More later.
